About Us
Save Reno Dumpster Diving is the brainchild of Christopher Moore, a self proclaimed Dumpster Diving Advocate. Born and raised in Reno, Chris is a fifth generation Nevadan. He graduated from Reno High School and received a BA in Spanish and International Affairs from the University of Nevada, Reno. He recently completed a Masters of International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, where he was a Rotary World Peace Fellow. Chris has traveled to over 30 countries and lived for extended periods in Australia, China, Ghana, Mexico and Spain--he is currently couch surfing in the Reno area.
Save Reno Dumpster Diving is also supported by numerous other individuals who prefer to remain anonymous at this time.
Save Reno Dumpster Diving is currently piecing together a short documentary film about Dumpster Diving and Scavenging Culture in the Reno area. Titled--Dumpster Wars II--the documentary will be screened in Reno and at a multitude of film festivals throughout the the world. You can catch the original Dumpster Wars on our homepage.
